Riding west we found some very twisty and enjoyable roads up into the foothills of the Sierras before we joined CA 180 which took us into King's Canon National Park.
We enjoyed visiting General Grants Tree, the third largest Sequoia in the Park. We had lunch at Lodgepole in Sequoia National Park and then rode the awesome General's Highway down the mountain, enjoying the scenery and the very twisty road.
It was hot crossing the central valley but after Coalinga, we enjoyed the twisty sections of CA 128 and then CA 25 north to Hollister where we spent the night.
