Today we woke early because of the confusion over what time zone we were in at Page, AZ. We packed up and rode the short distance south of Page to Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado. It was cool enough for the walk and few other people at 7:00am.
After a coffee we left page and went east, retracing our way through Monument Valley for an early lunch at the San Jaun Lodge in Mexican Hat.
We went up UT 261 to the bottom of the Moki Dugway. Damian and Brendan turned off traction control on their K1600s and roared up to the top whilst I followed at a more adult, sedate pace!
We rode around the east end of Lake Powell crossing the Colrado River at Hite and enjoyed the twisty road into Haksville and through Capitol Reef National Park to stay overnight in Torrey, UT. 330 miles in 8:19 hours.
