Ozark Loop Ride

5/7—6/6/24

We were lucky in only catching the edge of a severe front that blew through Mountain View at 5:00am. This front did severe damage with tornadoes tearing up towns in Oklahoma but we only had some thunder and lightning with rain for short time. Fitz from Missouri joined us for the next two days riding.

We rode into Clinton and enjoyed a great breakfast at Joe n' Hash on US 65.

We then rode AR 16 west to Witt's Spring and then to Pelsor on AR 7 where we had a break. The road was a bit damp and covered with downed leaves and vegitation from the storm that morning but we enjoyed the ride.

We stopped again in Jasper after riding north on AR 7. We had a coffee and Damian devoured a big sticky bun!

From Jasper we headed south to enjoy the "impassable hairpins" south of Mount Judea on AZ 123 before returning to Mountain View. 259 miles in 7 hours.
