Damian, Brendan, Jim and Andy left early from the Iron Horse Motorcycle on Sunday morning. We had a great ride up over the Cherohala Skyway and down to Tellico Plains for Breakfast.
Looking at Damian's front tire it was apparent that it was severely worn after riding hard at the TTD. we determined the best option to change it was at Cycle Gear in Madison, TN which was open on a Sunday. This change of plan meant we were able to ride the best section of TN 30 past Falls Creek State Park. We then had to ditch the rest of our plan and ride north west around Nashville to Madison.
Jim Elliott did a great job removing the front wheel and a new tire was quickly installed by the Cycle Gear mechanic. Jim reinstalled the front wheel and we were off again riding to Paris. We crossed the Kentucky Lake on the Houston-Benton Ferry and then rode north to stay overnight in Paris, TN.
We met up with Jim's brother Kevin and friend Greg at Randy and Della's in Buchanan, TN.
